Promoted in partnership with SESC São Paulo and visited by more than fifty thousand people in São Paulo and Salvador, the Brazilian season of the exhibition Sophie Calle – Take Care of Yourself (2009) placed Associação Cultural Videobrasil on the map of great contemporary art exhibitions, strengthening a vocation first shown in productions such as the Pan-African Exhibition of Contemporary Art (Salvador, 2005), which proposed a dialogue, and the Contemporary African Art Show (SESC Pompeia, 2000). In 2010, Joseph Beuys - We are the revolution, a retrospective exhibition centered on the work of the German artist, was seen by 60 thousand people at SESC Pompeia (São Paulo) and at the Museum of Modern Art – Bahia (Salvador).
