Artist and curator Carla Zaccagnini will mediate a debate on the work of artists Alexandre da Cunha (Brazil), Jeremiah Day (USA), and Rabih Mroué (Lebanon). The three are featured in the Art and Politics series, created by the curator for the online publication FF>>Dossier. Artist and researcher Raquel Garbelotti and art critic Thais Rivitti will participate.

Video in Contemporary Art Production
November 9, 10, and 11, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Featuring: Valquíria Prates
Geared toward students, educators who work at museums and cultural institutions, and coordinators and curators of projects in art education, the workshop is based on artwork from the Videobrasil Collection and on documentaries from the Videobrasil Authors Collection to address the evolution of video in the contemporary art context. The coordinator experiments with strategies that she uses in educational curatorial programs to build up approaches, meanings, and relations between the works presented.
