Since 2006, Associação Cultural Videobrasil has maintained an ongoing programme of meetings and workshops at SESC units, in partnership with SESC São Paulo. A space for both contact with audiences and reflection on contemporary art, these activities are free of charge and open to those interested. The programmes have two main formats: the SESC_Videobrasil Meetings, which screen original contents, and bring artists and audiences closer together; and workshops that tackle specific aspects of contemporary production. From 2009 onwards, a series of workshops introduces the audience to the contents of the Videobrasil Collection at SESC, which maps out over twenty-five years of production in Brazil and the world’s geopolitical South. In 2010, Videobrasil’s activities move from SESC Avenida Paulista to SESC Pinheiros.
