Operation for the Masses | FF>> Dossier
Release of Videobrasil Video Library at SESC Pinheiros
Artists Celia Catunda and Wilton Azevedo will be the guests of the SESC_Videobrasil Meeting in August, during which they will discuss the relation between poetry and video, and reflections of the constructivist project in current artistic proposals. The Meeting is part of curated programme Operation for the Masses, devised by journalist Marcelo Rezende for the FF>>Dossier online publication and based on the work of the participants. Marcelo Rezende will mediate the debate, which includes the screening of works selected by the two artists.
The Meeting will mark the release of the Videobrasil Video Library, at the Free Internet/Reading Room area of SESC Pinheiros. The Video Library will make six hundred works from Videobrasil’s important video art collection on DVD, including works awarded and featured at the SESC_Videobrasil Festival, available for free-of-charge public consultation at SESC Pinheiros.
