Sophie Calle – Cuide de você (2009)
Themes pertaining to Sophie Calle’s oeuvre provided the foundation for a set of practical and reflexive activities that provided diverse audiences (students, children, people interested in art, teachers) with different modes of contact with the exhibition, from mediated routes to workshops, open classes, and lectures. Invited to produce poetic replies to Calle’s proposals in text, photograph, and video, the audience posted hundreds of them on the exhibition’s participative blog. The Curatorial Programme was extended to include the seasons of Sophie Calle – Cuide de você at SESC Pompeia and at the Museum of Modern Art of Bahia, and involved educators, researchers, and artists, such as the GIA collective and the Tetine duo.
