Marcos Moraes
Brazil, 1956


Currently doing a Masters degree at the Architecture School of São Paulo University (FAU-USP), Marcos holds degrees in Law and Drama from the same university, and has taken specialization courses in Art and Education, Museology and Culture Administration. An independent curator, he teaches Art History and is the coordinator of the Arts course at Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (FAAP), where he currently organizes the Masters degree courses in Digital Arts.



Ximena Cuevas

Mexico, 1963


Video artist Ximena Cuevasstudied at the New School for Social Research at Columbia University (NY) and worked in more than 20 films, in different functions from 1980 to 1990. Her work focuses on daily life, on the borderline between reality and fiction and on gender issues. In 2001, the MoMA acquired nine of Cueva’s videos for its permanent collection. Screened at festivals such as Sundance and Berlin, her work is also part of the Georges Pompidou Centre’s collection in Paris.



Sergio Edelsztein

Argentina, 1956


Sergio Edelsztein holds a degree in Art History from the University of Tel-Aviv and is a teacher, essayist and curator. He founded the Contemporary Art Centre in the same Israeli town in 1997. Still in 1997, he produced Blurrr – 1, a performance art festival with subsequent editions in 1999, 2001 and 2003. In 1998 he was curator of Israel’s participation in the 24th São Paulo Biennale. In 2005 he was responsible for the Israeli pavilion at the Venice Biennale.
