INICIAÇÃO À PERFORMANCE
Terça, 6/9: uma releitura da performance “Imponderabilia”, realizada por Marina Abramovic e Ulay em Roma, em 1977, abriu o Workshop de Performance coordenado pelos performers Marcos Paulo Rolla e Marcos Hill no 15º Videobrasil. Como Marina e Ulay, Rolla e Hill ficaram nus, frente a frente, e pediram aos 19 alunos que passassem entre eles. “A performance foi escolhida para o primeiro exercício justamente por propor um embate corporal específico e criar um espaço simbólico de entrada, de iniciação ", diz Hill, que é professor da Escola de Belas Artes da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Tuesday, September 6: a rereading of the performance “Imponderabilia”, presented by Marina Abramovic and Ulay in Rome, 1977, kicked off the Performance Workshop organized by performers Marcos Paulo Rolla and Marcos Hill in the 15th Videobrasil. As did Marina and Ulay, Rolla and Hill stood naked, facing each other, and asked the 19 students to pass betwen them. “The performance was chosen as a first exercise precisely to propose a specific corporal shock and to create a symbolic entry space, a space of initiation," says Hill, who is a Professor in the Belas Artes School at the Minas Gerais Federal University.
